  1. I will spend on day a month and be with my thoughts and nature. That's means taking a walk or a hike the through bontanical gardens, or a long drive just me and my thoughts, or have a Picnic with myself . I love being in nature, with nothing but quite around and listening to nature that what makes me feel luxurious!!

  2. Simplicity. I have made a commitment to reduce/eliminate my life of the physical and mental baggage that has been weighing me down, a process called de-cluttering. The initial steps to feeling light and liberated. Ridding myself of this stagnant energy thereby removing it from my life in order to free up time and space for the more important things. A simple life creates the path for my luxurious life.....

  3. Last week at my job we had the opportunity to get a free chair massage. It was wonderful! As I sat in that massage chair being kneeded like a lump of dough, I thought to myself, why am I not doing this more often. So, when you as me what I'm going to do to make my life more luxuirious... Once a month I plan to pamper myself. Perhaps with a massage, or pedicure, some kind of way I am going to spend time loving me and relaxing.

  4. I plan to take some of the suggestions in this lovely book and apply them in my personal life. I also plan to take more time for ME...time to reflect and meditate on my life and how to make it better.

  5. The way Feli describes "luxury" in her book is by taking time out of your day to enjoy the 'simple things'- or, the "small things" in life. After reading this book, I remember stopping at the flower section in Meijer and touching the petals on the flowers there and thinking "...wow.. how do these things grow so naturally beautiful... flowers are such an adornment to our grass and land--its amazing" Luxury is stopping and realizing the things in our every day lives and noticing how very special and beautiful they are! I remember coming home after a long day and saying, "I need a bit of -ME- time." As Feli suggests, light a candle, take a hot bath and relax!! This year, I want to introduce more 'luxury' into my life by slowing down and realizing what the fine, simple 'luxuries' are--and sharing them with others. I want to stress less and stop and 'smell the roses,' more. I want to point out to my step-daughter what means most in this world and teach her how to appreciate the little thinmgs so she too can enjoy life's simple luxuries. Life is what we make it!! SO LET IT BE LUXURIOUS! WOOP WOOP!
