Wok Oil

Around my house, we love trying new things.  I love to experience new things.  I'm trying to eat more salads, more vegetables, when actually what I really want is a chocolate cupcake, with cream cheese frosting.  I digress.  My mom brought home something called Wok Oil.  I'd never heard of it.   I figured I'd give it a go. 
Oh, my goodness!  It was our best  new discovery in recent memory.  One taste, and literally, my eyes opened wide.  It wasn't just a taste, as it was a sensation.  This oil infused with Thai basil, and lemongrass was bright, and extremely aromatic.

The flavor was so fresh, that it made my usual olive oil seem completely redundant.  Granted olive oil isn't completely useless.   However, for my beloved oil and vinegar dressed salads, plain olive oil can take a hike.  Wok on!
